This is clearly where Ed and his crew have a significant edge...his attention to detail, thoughtful consideration and assurance of quality of work is unparalled. You can text and call him and you can almost guaranteed he will reply. This is PEACE OF MIND that no other pricing nor product nor a company can deliver! He admits that his pricing is certainly not the lowest one nor its the highest but guarantees its VERY competitive! And based on my countless of research, it is indeed one of the best one out there! His product is neither the most cutting edge (a TESLA dor example), but its like buying a TOYOTA, a reliable and no nonsense working machine that takes in all replacement parts and DOES the job! What you want in your house is a workhorse backed up by solid customer service that will last you a long time. I have not yet seen this but so far his efforts and reviews has proven this greatly!!!

We bought a whole house water filtering and softening system as well as a reverse osmosis drinking/cooking water filter under our kitchen sink. The systems are of excellent quality...better than the Culligan system we had in our previous home. We originally were going to go with a big box store one-tank system but quickly realized we'd made a mistake and returned it. Ed gave us a very compelling education discussion about systems and offered us a very affordable price...about 1/3rd the cost of a Culligan system....and it is a better two-tank system!! Ed is a friendly and knowledgeable owner and we were VERY impressed with him.

We also received nothing but the best service from our installing plumber Chris and our project was not easy as he had to run water lines and piping several places. Chris took his time to do a very thorough job and often asked us about how our project was looking and doing. After installing, he demonstrated all we needed to know to get comfortable.

Both Ed (owner) and Chris (plumber/installer/contractor) are excellent professionals with high standards and we highly recommend them. And we are really enjoying the amazing difference with soft and filtered water in Huntington Beach.

I got my water softener with the carbon water filtration two weeks ago. I waited a couple of weeks to write this review to see how this thing holds up. Ed is very easy to talk to and will not try to upsell you with unnecessary equipment. Ed is upfront and knowledgeable. I have tried dealing with other companies but they were out of my price range. Some will try to pressure you into buying their product or use scare tactics. Ed very easy going and will give you recomendations. You will always feel at ease.

Now about the system, My water is noticeably softer and feels really refreshing taking showers now. It feels luxurious. No more dry skin. My wife notice the difference too. No more buying water bottles. The water taste great and crystal clear. No more mineral residue when cleaning your kitchen. I recomend getting this system if you want your appliances to last longer, ie Washer, Fridge, and Dishwasher. Plates and glass comes out clean and crystal clear. You will truly notice the difference overall when you get this system.

Ed was awesome. He explained all the benefits of different systems. I’m got the top notch one out in and love it. I was a little worried about the lack of minerals in the water. Ed worked with me and we found another filter the pits back minerals and the water is amazing. I even bought my own tester to see the actual specs of my water and everything he said was 100% on point. Definitely recommend Ed​

What most impressed me about Ed's Soft Water service was the prompt and professional service I received throughout the entire process.  I have an older house that required a lot of special plumbing to install the system, but both Ed and Mike found a way to get the system working exactly how I wanted it.  Ed would return my calls or texts within minutes and even on the weekends.  Can't say enough about what a great experience  I had with Ed and his entire team.

Replied within mins of submitting the request on Angi on a Saturday. VERY knowledgeable. Ed spent 20 mins explaining water softeners and purifiers to me even though he didn’t offer what I was specifically looking for at the time. After more investigation online, I confirmed everything Ed mentioned and decided on a completely different system. I got quotes from a couple places and Ed’s was the most competitive. When he came out for the pre-install review he was able to determine solutions for everything without adding to the cost. Others that came out were planning many more invasive modifications to the garage to install the system and get electricity to it and they didn’t seem to understand the basic setup of a softener in combination with a purifier (they wanted to install the sediment filter from the city water as if it was well water). All their solutions came at an additional cost also. Ed’s installer arrived and completed the install as scheduled. Ed was responsive/communicative via text and phone calls throughout the entire process. Everything went as planned and we now have a complete-home water purification system, water softener, and RO system for drinking. They even ran the RO line from under the kitchen sink to the back of the fridge through all our cabinetry so our ice and fridge water are now pure as well. Can’t recommend enough!​

We got their series 2 installed - so the whole house filter plus softener, and RO for just the sink. It's been a week and we cannot be more happy with the quality of water so far. Ed is a great guy, very patient and friendly, and will not try to oversell. I did a lot of research between different softeners in the market as well as conditioners. This to me was the best value. Their pricing is all inclusive and upfront on their website as well. If you are considering a softener, give Ed call a call sure. The installer, Chris was a great professional as well. Our install was slightly tricky, but they were able to complete it with the initial quote. Very happy with the experience so far, and highly recommend Ed's Soft water.​

​This company is fantastic to deal with! Ed contacted me within minutes of my request for service on Home Advisor...others took longer. Ed was very friendly and professional and took a lot of time to educate me about soft water systems as well as reverse osmosis systems. He sent one of his service men Chris to our home within a couple days and though our home presented some obstacles he did an excellent job. Plus Chris was really nice, friendly and helpful in educating us. I had both systems installed within a week's time and my wife and I are so pleased with both systems. Ed uses only U.S. made products. I did have some other providers call me who were not even close to being friendly at times and some of the quotes were much more expensive....and often with foreign-made systems. I highly recommend Ed's Soft Water Company.​
